Personal Radiation Dosimetry (TLD)

We monitor occupational radiation exposure with thermoluminescent (TLD) badges: periodic issue and collection, then reading and analysis inside our accredited laboratory — with documented dose reports and individual exposure records supporting your compliance with Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission requirements.

Measurement types covered by the badge

Whole body & skin

Dose from gamma, X-ray and beta radiation.

Eye lens

Gamma and X-ray dose to the lens of the eye.

Routine & emergency

Dose measurement in routine operation and in radiological emergencies.

Scope of the dosimetry service

01

Supplying the dosimeters

TLD badges matched to the work and the sector — from industrial and petroleum facilities to laboratories and medical sites.

02

Training on correct use

Training staff to wear the badge in the correct position and handle it correctly throughout the measurement period, as correct use determines the accuracy of the reading.

03

Reading and reporting

Badges are read and analysed in our accredited radiological laboratory, with documented periodic dose reports for each worker.

04

Consultation and compliance

Advice on building the dose-monitoring programme, interpreting results, and meeting Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission requirements.

Dosimetry service cycle

Issue & distribute

Badges issued per named worker and distributed to sites.

Wear period

The badge is worn throughout the agreed measurement period.

Collect & read

Badges collected, then read and analysed in the accredited laboratory.

Report & record

A documented dose report and an updated individual exposure record.

Complementary workplace-monitoring services

Personal dosimetry records the dose received by each worker; a workplace survey identifies its sources. We provide both services together.

01

Survey of radiation levels

Measurement of ambient gamma, radon and radioactive contamination across the work areas.

02

Evaluation of workplace conditions

A detailed assessment of site conditions, potential exposure sources and the nature of the tasks.

03

Detailed report with recommendations

A report summarising the findings with actionable radiation-safety recommendations.
